Our Mission

CMWC is a Federally Qualified Health Center. Our mission is to integrate and provide culturally and linguistically appropriate quality health care, health education and diverse range of social services tailored to individuals with various healthcare needs. We are dedicated to promoting patient advocacy to improve the overall well-being of individuals and their families in supporting access to quality of care and services

History

Community Medical Wellness Centers USA “CMWC” a non-profit corporation established on Apr 6, 2011, to provide quality health care and health education for the low-income, underserved and the under-insured residents specifically the Black/African American, Cambodian and Latinx of City of Long Beach and surrounding areas. CMWC was approved as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as of Oct 13, 2015.
